YAY! It's Friday - FPS Friday's. Welcome back.

Seeing Mount Fuji was something that I never expected I would do in my lifetime. Honestly, I'm not even sure if it's sunk in months later that I stoof infront of one if the most famous volcanos in the world.

Some quick facts about the mountain:

- Elevation - 3776m
- Last eruption - 1707-08
- It was a pilgrimage site for centirues and it considered sacred in Japan.

Getting to Mount Fuji wasn't easy. We missed the bus that goes from Tokyo straight to Mount Fuji, which if you ever go you need to book a bus ticket in advance because it gets full fast. So we ended up taking an express train (which also needs a special ticket) to a region close to Mount Fuji. We then got out and changed carriages to the non reserved section for the fest of the train ride where we stood like cattle (maybe a bit of an exaggeration) for about 30 minutes until we got to the station. We then had to take a 30 minute bus ride from the station to the mountain.

Even though the journer was by no means short it was worth it. Seeing Mount Fuji up close was surreal. I probably wouldn't believe it if I didn't have the photo.
